On the way to visit relatives and saw this place ! Let me tell you I am blown away by how good everything was , we shared bang bang shrimp and Tom yum soup. Followed by the drunken noodle soup and crazy noodle with shrimp. Our server informed us on the heat level of each dish which was extremely helpful. I think this place is one of the best Asian restaurants in town ! Thank you to our server Ghost N lol

Came to Carolina Beach, N.C. for week long family vacation. Tried various restaurants in Carolina Beach and nothing satisfactory. Finally we drove 10 minutes north on route 421 and Tao Thai was excellent. Friendly service but the food was so good. So much flavor. No one left hungry because everything was so good. The restaurant is extremely clean . My wife wants to go back before we leave Carolina Beach. Tao Thai is a keeper. I rate Tao Thai a 10 out of 10.

the staff is friendly & the food here is delicious! i used to live in socal and haven’t been able to find authentic thai food anywhere and this is definitely it! i always get the chicken pad thai, fiance got the spicy veggies and we decided to try the tom kha soup and it was all really goood!

I placed an order yesterday at 2:30, they close at 3 and reopen at 5. I order the Pad Thai with beef and vegetables. When I opened it at home, it was really disgusting. The vegetables were mushy and old, the broccoli was yellow, and the beef was all dried out with white spots on it. The entire meal was not editable. It looked disgusting!!! The pork fried rice was also dried out. I called them immediately and let them know. I asked for a refund since I had to throw it all out, before I left a review. They said they wouldn’t refund my dinner and said to go ahead and write a negative review. So here it is. Do not eat here. It looked awful and for a business not to offer a refund is really poor service.

The food was absolutely delicious. The spring rolls were so much larger than I expected and the poke bowl was so fresh tasting. I enjoyed the egg drop soup as well and came out in a larger serving that I thought it would be!
